Hanging with Kobe
Austin and I headed down to the USA Olympic basketball game against Canada. Game is a stretch since we recognized no one playing for Canada (hockey nation right?) and Steve Nash was nowhere to be found. It was much like one of the old Globetrotters games filled with great slam dunks and lots of points for the USA (much fewer from our friends up north). Anyway here’s some highlights and even a little video of Kobe warming up (it’s my grainy, cheesy camera phone ok — just enjoy and imagine.
BTW – Can someone do something about the exit strategy from the Thomas and Mack? We sat for over an hour+ trying to get out of the lot. Not good. Someone down there owes me a couple gallons of gas.

There are a few places to park that enable a quick exit. Most notably, the PT’s across the street and right by the Student Union.
Have you forgotten my secret parking spot by the tunnel?
Home in 30 tops.
Dude – didn’t forget but it was inaccessible on Friday afternoon when we got there — it killed me
Oh, and parking behind the library and walking right up to the stadium is a good one. That one is by far the best.
